Subject Component Mark

Subject Component Mark

Marking Scheme Configuration

The **Subject Component Mark** module is where you define the **Marking Scheme**. You take a Credit Template (e.g., "DSC 0+0+2") and add specific components to it (e.g., "Viva: 20 Marks", "Practical Exam: 40 Marks"). You also define the **Time Window** during which teachers are allowed to enter marks for these components.

A
Parent-Child Logic

Use Parent Component to group marks. For example, if "End Term Practical" is 60 Marks, you can break it down into "Viva (20)" and "Performance (40)" by making "End Term Practical" their parent.

B
Entry Window

The Marks Entry Window controls when teachers can enter marks. Outside these dates, the entry form will be locked for them.
